python-pam software package provides Python interface to the PAM library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-pam
python-pam is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-pam package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-pam *
You will get with python-pam package name, version, architecture and description in a table
